All students have now been approved on Simulation Task no 1. You have all received emails on this topic by now including a scanned copy of your report and some minor comments. We will discuss the task (and task no 2) on the lecture on Wednesday May 20 at 15:15. Comments on Simulation Task no 2 will be sent tomorrow. Sorry that the comments on task no 1 have been so delayed.
We have decided to postpone the project demonstration one week to May 27 at 3:15pm. Please note that
the feedback and discussion about the simulation tasks will still take place on May 20 at 3:15pm.
A mail has been sent out about the project and the curriculum is updated.
There will be no lecture on Thursday April 9. The lectures resume on Monday April 27 at 10:15.
A new Zoom-link will be mailed before the lecture. I hope you will have a nice Easter holliday and
Good Luck with the exams after that! /Gunnar
Sorry about the mess with the lecture today (March 30).
The attempt to make all the lectures available by the same link was a failure.
Ulf could log in and host the meeting today but then none of the students could access the lecture.
Once Ulf logged out around 10:25 it was possible for students to join the lecture.
Since there are a few open slots in the program Ulf decided to cancel the lecture rather than to just record it.
Ulf will now create individual Zoom-lectures for Wednesday April 1 (3:15 PM, CEST), Friday April 3 (8:15 AM, CEST)
and Monday April 6 (10:15 AM, CEST) - and send the information to all students.
It is our hope that the upcoming lectures will then work as fine as they did the first week.
Ulf also trusts that the students have understanding that the tools we are using now for remote teaching are new also for him.
These strange Corona times require new capabilities and we can all just do our best to uphold the teaching
to best of our capabilities. Today was a failure but something we learn from.
Due to the Corona pandemic all lectures will be given as Zoom-meetings.
All students enrolled for the course should have received a mail with a link to the introduction lecture.
If anyone intends to take the course but haven't received this link please mail the course leader (Gunnar).
The course starts on March 23 (Monday) at 08:15 in room MA:5. Welcome!
