Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and
Battelle Memorial Institute PNNL is one of nine Department of Energy (DOE) multiprogram national laboratories. It is situated close to the Hanford Site, in southeastern Washington State, initially as a support to the nuclear technology activities there. Today key areas are environment, health, energy, computer science and security. As a senior specialist at PNNL, John Hauer is involved with the Wide Area Measurement System project. PNNL is operated by Battelle Memorial Institute. |
